Scooby’s story: Scooby is a sweet boy who definitely cares more about people than he does about other dogs. This handsome boy is incredibly affectionate and will be right by your side, asking for pets all day long. Scooby’s ideal day would consist of plenty of treats, a good walk and a relaxing evening spending quality time with his favorite humans. Scooby may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you – he has a lot of love to give and is ready to find a family to call home.

Adoption/donation fee: Adoption fees for dogs weighing more than 25 pounds, like Scooby, are being waived in January. Fees include vaccinations, microchip, spaying or neutering and treatment for parasites. They do not include licensing fees or adoption of puppies 6 months of age or younger.

Adoption procedure: Call OC Animal Care at 714-935-6848 to schedule an adoption appointment to meet Eleven or any of the other animals that can be found on the shelter’s website. While appointments are available for convenience, walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis, at the shelter, located at 1630 Victory Road, Tustin.
